Rental Info

Prior to taking possession of any equipment, Client shall provide Shutterworks Rentals Spokane with a Certificate of Insurance (C.O.I.) and payment as specified below.

 

Insurance Requirements

      • Property Insurance shall be on a worldwide basis; shall name Lessor as Loss Payee for loss or damage to the rental property and shall cover “All Risks” of loss or damage for Equipment. Vehicle physical damage coverage shall include the perils of “Comprehensive” and “Collision.” Limits shall be sufficient to encompass all property at risk, regardless of source, but in no event less than $1,000,000.00. Automobile liability shall be no less than $1,000,000.00 combined single limit.
      • Commercial General Liability Insurance shall meet the following minimum of $1,000,000.00 per occurrence and $1,000,000.00 annual aggregate.
      • The C.O.I. shall name: Shutterworks Photography L.L.C., d.b.a Shutterworks Rentals Spokane, 2925 S. Glenrose Rd, Spokane, WA, 99223, as a loss payee and additionally insured.
      • The C.O.I. is due at least 3 business days before the start of the rental period, so that we can verify coverage with the carrier.

 

Payment

      • For new clients, with an order of equipment only:
        Payment is due in full, before the start of the rental period.
      • For new clients, with an order including a grip truck:
        50% of the Estimate amount is due upfront.
        The balance is billed at the end of the rental period, with payment due NET 10.
      • Payments are accepted by credit card, debit card, ACH, bank transfer / money wire, and checks. Payments by credit card and debit cards incur additional costs to cover transactional fees.

General Info

    • Please note that Shutterworks does not rent video cameras, cinema cameras, photography cameras, or any camera lenses.
    • Equipment rental rates are per item, per day, with a discount applied for rentals lasting a week or longer.
    • Some equipment is only available with an operator from Shutterworks.
    • All equipment is to be operated by qualified technicians. Lessee assumes any and all risk for loss, injury, death and bodily harm, or destruction to property resulting from the use of the Equipment.
    • Equipment which requires fuel to operate must be returned with a full tank. Lessee will be charged for refueling each piece of equipment not returned full at the end of the rental period.
    • Client accounts must be current, with no amounts owed, to continue to rent equipment. All amounts past due must be received before another order is fulfilled.
    • Interest on past due amounts are subject to fees and interest at 1.0% per month, 12.0% per annum.
