Rent It

To begin the rental process, please email us a list of equipment you would like to rent. We strive to reply to all requests within 12 hours of receiving them.

We will then provide a quote for the rental equipment and Rental Agreement to be completed, signed and returned. Completed paperwork must be returned at least one business day before pickup. A security deposit via credit card pre-authorization is required for all rentals. If Lessee provides a Certificate of Insurance recording Shutterworks as an additional insured or loss payee with coverage in an amount at least equal to the replacement cost of all equipment rented to Lessee, then Lessee’s credit card will only be charged for the policy deductible amount. In the event Lessee does not provide or have a current Certificate of Insurance on file, Lesse’s credit card shall be used for a security deposit. In such event, prior to the start of the rental period, Shutterworks will pre-authorize Lessee’s credit card for a charge equal to the full replacement cost of all rental equipment plus applicable rental fees and charges on Lessee’s order.

A rental day is defined as 24 hours. Each weekend day and holiday is considered one rental day. Minimum charge is 1 full day rate per piece of equipment. There are no discounts for equipment not used during the shoot or returned early. Equipment can be picked up or returned by appointment between 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday. Pick up and returns are available before or after regular business hours, on weekends or holidays for an additional fee by special arrangement. Delivery of the equipment and pick up after the shoot is available for a fee.

Once Lessee has taken delivery of the equipment, Lessee assumes all risks of loss, in any and all ways until it is returned. All equipment shall only be used by qualified technicians, solely at the risk of the Lessee for any and all injury, grave bodily harm, death, or destruction to person or property resulting from the use of the equipment. Excessive cosmetic wear, scratches, or dents to otherwise functional equipment and accessories is not normal wear and tear and shall be repaired or replaced at Lessee’s cost.
